Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account on Pontea you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of service

Pontea is a project management tool that allows freelancers and small agencies ("project owners") to collaborate with their clients on tasks. The service is provided "as is" and may change over time.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
• One person may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Free and PRO plans

• Free plan: limited to 5 active owned projects. No payment required.
• PRO plan: unlimited projects and additional features. Pricing as published on /pricing.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing PRO subscribers.
• Client/guest members of projects are always free, regardless of their own plan.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal activities or to store illegal content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
• Use automated scripts to abuse or overload the service.
• Resell or sublicense the service without written permission.

6. Content ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create (projects, tasks, uploads). By using the service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Italy, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply.
